Need is a conceptual supplement brand developed in response to the Pro Carton brief, which challenged participants to rethink an existing packaging problem using renewable, paper-based materials. The project combines brand identity, structural packaging design, and a modular dispensing system made primarily from cardboard. As part of the brief, the complete packaging system was designed and built as a full-scale physical prototype.

The concept addresses common issues associated with supplement storage and consumption, such as excessive plastic packaging, product organisation, and adherence to daily routines. A refill-based system allows users to receive personalised supplements in regularly delivered packs, reducing waste while simplifying everyday use.

Inspired by molecular structures, the hexagonal packaging format functions both as storage and as an aesthetic object designed to integrate naturally into contemporary living spaces. The visual identity reinforces the brand's focus on personalisation, sustainability, and accessibility.
